KCGM Underground Offices Moving to Cassidy Centre
As of the 27 March, the Mt Charlotte offices, currently located at the Sam Pearce Decline will be moving to refurbished offices at the Cassidy Centre in Williamstown. The Mt Charlotte crew will be relocating on the 3 April.

KCGM Continues Commitment to Creating Employment Pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
Continuing with KCGM’s strong commitment to inclusion and diversity and creating employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the community, KCGM hosted a bus tour of their Fimiston Operations on Tuesday January 31st, 2017, for local Aboriginal candidates interested in pursuing a career in mining.

LTI Reaches Major Milestone
In November KCGM reached a major milestone, with the Loss Time Injury (LTI) Bonus reaching an impressive 2 million hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI). Thanks to the votes of our KCGM employees and contractors, donations of $12,000 each, has been made to joint winners, Police and Community Youth Centre (PCYC) and Foodbank.

Aboriginal Employment Update
KCGM participated in the Kalgoorlie Leadership Summit in August 2016 and we are committed to supporting the community through employment opportunities and providing cultural awareness training for all KCGM employees. KCGM is one of the largest employers in the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder with a workforce of 855 KCGM employees and 335 permanent contractors.

KCGM Concentrate Delivery Truck Incident
At approximately 7:30pm on the 9th of January, a concentrate delivery truck travelling from the KCGM Fimiston Operation to the Gidji Operation, turned off the Goldfields Highway and onto the Gidji access road. On rounding the corner, the truck has left the road causing the second trailer (of three) to tip over and spill its load of non-hazardous product.
